We are dedicated to creativity and thrive on the enthusiastic feedback of our guests.
Our aim is to enable students to recognise their own potential - whether six years old and never having felt the freedom of painting outdoors, students searching for 'A' level inspiration, or an Art teacher who just never seems to find the time...

How it all Began
Hands-on Art Adventures was developed by Janet Craig, an experienced Head of Art and Educational Visits Coordinator:
"After years of watching potentially great young artists struggle against the never-ending focus on National Curriculum levels and targets, I decided to create an 'Art for Fun' experience… …and so in 2003 the one-week Art Trip to Cornwall was born. I have run this trip for all four Middle Schools in Windsor since 2003. These pupils (and their accompanying adults who also had a sketchbook and art pack and were far more reluctant than the kids) were immersed in Art for a week and, without even trying, they leapt up the NC ladder. But this is not the memory they treasure: they each have their own favourite moments, all art-related, whether it was constructing a sand sculpture on the beach at St. Ives, discovering the freedom of watercolour overlooking the Padstow estuary or sketching, in charcoal, the cow that chased Miss Craig! They have the knowledge that they can 'do art' now and forever, whenever and however they like…"
